Two days in Orlando building AI into your law firm

CloudCon is a hands-on AI bootcamp for small firm owners and their teams. Bring your laptop and a real problem from your firm. You'll build along with the speakers, and you'll go home with one or two things already working.

Tickets are $1,499, plus $749 for a second person from your firm.

What CloudCon is

In June we ran our first in-person event, the Cloud AI Summit, in Orlando. We had 40 tickets, and they sold out. The room had everyone from firm owners who had never opened Claude to people already working in Claude Code.

By the end of the second day, attendees were presenting things like an intake lead-scoring app, an expungement eligibility screener and a KPI dashboard pulling live numbers from Clio and Gusto. A legal assistant built a probate file tracker for the firm.

CloudCon is the bigger version of that event, with room for 100. We rebuilt the format around what those 40 attendees told us to change.

How it's different from most conferences

We call it a bootcamp because you're working the whole time. Here's what that means in practice.

Most conferences
CloudCon
A speaker clicks through slides for an hour
The speaker builds it live and you build it with them on your own laptop
One session for every skill level
Day 2 tables are split from first-timer to advanced, so you work with people at your level
Speakers fly in for their talk and leave
Speakers stay on the floor on Day 2 to help you build
Vendors pitch from the stage
Sponsors are tools we already use, and nobody gives a sales pitch
You go home with a notebook full of ideas
You go home with one or two things already working in your firm

How the two days work

Day 1, Thursday

Workshops

Every speaker teaches one hands-on workshop, up to an hour. You follow along on your own laptop, so you finish each session with something working.

Day 2, Friday

Tables by skill level

You pick a table that fits you, from first-timer to advanced. Each one is led by an expert, and the speakers stay on the floor on Day 2 helping people who get stuck.

Day 2, 3:00

Show-and-tell

The day ends with show-and-tell for anyone who wants to share what they built, and you don't have to present. Last time people only got a minute each, so this time it gets 90 minutes.

If you've never opened Claude

You won't be the only one. Every ticket includes the AI Basics Kickstart, a beginner guide we're releasing by January 1 so you can get set up before you arrive. On Day 2 you'll sit at a table with people at your level.

Why I started CloudCon

I grew up in my mom's law firm. I went on to law school, and right before I graduated, AI completely took over my fascination. I've been doing this ever since.

I've been to so many conferences, and I watched my mom go to even more. You come home with a notebook full of ideas and no time to build any of them.

So I started running events for people like my mom, where you actually learn how to build these things yourself. You see the back end, you watch how it works step by step, and you get real time during the event to build your own.

We're a small team, and we ran the first one in June. The people in that room told us exactly what to fix: tables by skill level, more time to build and more time to show their work. CloudCon has all three.

I'd love to have you there.

Some of what you could build

These all came out of the Summit or our work with firms since. Pick one or two before you come, or bring your own idea.

Starter

A daily morning briefing

Claude reads your calendar and inbox each morning and sends you the day's deadlines, new leads and anything that needs you.

Starter

A tech audit of everything you pay for

Give Claude your card statements and it lists every subscription, what it costs, where two tools overlap and when each one renews.

Builder

An intake lead-scoring app

Your intake team enters a new inquiry and gets a fit score based on your own screening criteria before the consult is booked.

Builder

Email filing into the right matter

Staff file a client email and its attachments to the matter in your case management system without downloading and re-uploading.

Advanced

A firm KPI dashboard

Pull live numbers from Clio, QuickBooks, Gusto or Google Analytics into one dashboard that refreshes on its own.

Advanced

A discovery skill

A Claude skill that organizes a document production, summarizes it and flags what to read first.

Who comes

Small firm owners and the people who run the firm with them. You can bring a second person from your firm for $749.

Firm owners

Solo attorneys and managing partners

You decide where the firm's time and tech budget go. You'll see what's worth building in your own firm and what isn't.

Operations managers

Firm administrators and COOs

You keep the systems running. You'll connect AI to the tools you already have, like your case management system and your email.

Office managers

Office managers and legal admins

Intake, scheduling and follow-up take up most of your day, and that's where a lot of the builds on our list start.

Paralegals

Paralegals and legal assistants

At the Summit last June, one legal assistant built a probate file tracking system for the firm.

What people built at the Summit

From the feedback forms attendees filled out afterward, in their words.

"I came in never having built anything with AI. I left feeling like I have what it takes to be on the leading edge of AI in our notoriously archaic industry."

What attendees said

"The Cloud AI Summit was by far the best conference I've attended. I learned from industry experts and connected with firms across the country. The hands-on training let my team put what we learned into action immediately, and we're already seeing daily benefits from the practical applications."

Meghann - family law firm from Massachusetts

"It wasn't just about learning what AI can do. It was about actually applying it to real workflows and seeing the opportunities it creates. I left with practical ideas that I can implement right away."

Heather - estate planning firm from Elkhorn, WI

"The AI fog was cleared and I walked out of this summit with so much more useful information than when I walked in. It also expanded my mind about what I can use and build with AI both personally and professionally."

Carrie - family law firm from Hackensack, NJ

"Attorneys, bring yourself and your staff! They are the ones who will create and administer the timesaving projects you will learn to create."

Kara - estate planning firm from Lutz, FL
