1. About the Event and Organizer
CloudCon 2027 (the "Event") is a two-day, in-person AI training event for small law firm leaders, scheduled for January 21 and 22, 2027 at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, Disney Springs Area in Orlando, Florida. The Event is produced and operated by Cloud925, LLC ("Organizer," "we," "us," or "our"). For all questions, contact rachel@cloud925.com.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "Attendee") and Organizer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket and attend the Event. By purchasing a ticket, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide at registration is accurate and complete.
3. Tickets and Payment
3.1 Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold through our ticketing platform, Ticket Tailor. All ticket prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
3.2 Confirmation
Your purchase is not confirmed until payment is processed and you receive an email confirmation from us or from Ticket Tailor. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours of purchase, contact rachel@cloud925.com.
3.3 Capacity
The Event is capped at 100 Attendees. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to close ticket sales at any time once capacity is reached or as we otherwise determine appropriate.
3.4 Team Member Tickets
A Team Member ticket is sold at a discounted rate and must be paired with a General Admission ticket purchased for the same law firm. One (1) Team Member ticket may be purchased for each General Admission ticket. Both tickets must be for individuals employed by or affiliated with the same firm. We reserve the right to cancel any Team Member ticket that does not meet this requirement and refund the corresponding purchase price.
4. Refund and Transfer Policy
4.1 Refund Schedule
Our refund policy is as follows, calculated by the date the request is received in writing at rachel@cloud925.com:
- On or before December 1, 2026: At your election, either (a) a full refund of the ticket price, less any non-refundable ticketing and payment processing fees, or (b) a full transfer of your ticket to another eligible person.
- December 2, 2026 and after: No refunds. Tickets remain transferable to another eligible person until 48 hours before the Event start time.
4.2 How to Request a Refund or Transfer
All refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to rachel@cloud925.com and must include the original purchaser's name, email, and order number. Transfers are subject to our approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld. The new ticket holder must agree to these Terms before the transfer becomes effective.
4.3 No-Shows
Failure to attend the Event does not entitle you to a refund. Tickets are not refundable for any reason after the Event begins, including but not limited to missed travel, illness, weather, work conflicts, or any other personal circumstance.
4.4 Ticketing and Payment Processing Fees
Ticket Tailor and its payment processors charge non-refundable fees on every transaction. When we issue a refund, we may deduct those fees from the refund amount. The exact fee will be disclosed at the time of refund.
4.5 Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days from the date the refund is authorized. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at purchase. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account, which is outside our control.
5. Event Cancellation, Postponement, or Modification by Organizer
5.1 Our Right to Modify
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify any aspect of the Event, including but not limited to the venue, date, schedule, agenda, facilitators, speakers, sponsors, format, and content. We will use reasonable efforts to notify Attendees of material changes in advance.
5.2 Cancellation by Organizer
If we cancel the Event in its entirety for reasons within our reasonable control, we will refund the ticket price you paid, less any non-refundable ticketing and payment processing fees. This refund is your sole and exclusive remedy in the event of cancellation.
5.3 Force Majeure and Other Uncontrollable Events
If the Event is canceled, postponed, or materially modified due to a force majeure event or other circumstance beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, hurricanes, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, public health emergency, government action or restriction, terrorism, war, civil unrest, riots, strikes, labor disputes, utility failures, internet or telecommunications failures, venue unavailability, or facilitator unavailability), we will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event or to offer Attendees a credit toward a future Cloud925 event of equivalent value. Refunds in such circumstances are at our sole discretion. Organizer is not liable for any travel, lodging, or other costs you incur in connection with a force majeure cancellation, postponement, or modification.
5.4 Low Enrollment
In the unlikely event that we cancel due to insufficient enrollment, we will issue full refunds of the ticket price, less any non-refundable ticketing and payment processing fees, and will provide notice no later than 30 days before the Event.
6. What Your Ticket Includes and Does Not Include
6.1 Included
Your ticket includes admission to the Event sessions, pre-Event preparation materials, and lunch, snacks, and coffee on both days, along with any printed or digital materials we make available to all Attendees. Breakfast is provided to Attendees who stay at the host hotel, the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, Disney Springs Area, as part of the hotel's complimentary guest breakfast, and is not separately included with your ticket. Specific inclusions may vary and will be communicated in advance of the Event.
6.2 Not Included
Your ticket does not include travel, lodging, ground transportation, parking, dinners, alcohol, optional activities, third-party software subscriptions, continuing legal education credit, or any other expense not expressly listed as included. You are solely responsible for arranging and paying for these items.
7. Attendee Requirements and Preparation
Attendees are required to bring a working laptop and any necessary charging cables. We will send pre-Event preparation videos and instructions, and we strongly encourage all Attendees to complete them before Day 1. We are not responsible for any limitations in your Event experience caused by your failure to prepare or by issues with your personal hardware or accounts.
8. No Recording or Live Streaming by Attendees
The Event is in-person only and is not recorded or live-streamed for distribution. Attendees may not, under any circumstances, audio record, video record, live-stream, broadcast, photograph for the purpose of reproducing instructional content, or otherwise capture any session, presentation, conversation, demonstration, slide deck, code, prompt, or build. This applies to all sessions throughout the Event, including any informal portions of the program.
Personal photos for your own non-commercial use (for example, a quick selfie at the venue or a photo of yourself with a sponsor) are permitted only with the consent of any other person in the photo. Photos must not capture other Attendees' screens, code, prompts, or work product without their express permission.
Violation of this Section 8 may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund and may give rise to liability under applicable intellectual property and privacy laws.
9. Photography, Video, and Media Release
By attending the Event, you grant Organizer and our designated photographers, videographers, and contractors an irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to photograph, film, and record you and to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and any quotes or testimonials you provide for marketing, promotional, educational, and editorial purposes in connection with CloudCon, Cloud925, and any future Cloud925 events. This includes use on websites, social media, email marketing, sponsor materials, recap videos, blog posts, and similar materials, in any format and medium now known or later developed.
If you do not wish to appear in our marketing materials, you must notify rachel@cloud925.com in writing before the Event begins, and we will use reasonable efforts to avoid capturing or featuring you. We cannot guarantee that you will not appear in incidental background footage. We do not control content captured by other Attendees or third parties.
10. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all Attendees, facilitators, sponsors, and venue staff. By attending, you agree to:
- Treat all Attendees, facilitators, sponsors, and venue staff with courtesy and respect.
- Refrain from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or unwelcome conduct of any kind, including but not limited to conduct based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Refrain from disruptive, threatening, abusive, or unsafe behavior.
- Comply with all applicable laws and venue rules.
- Respect the confidentiality of any sensitive client, firm, or business information shared by other Attendees during the Event.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any Attendee from the Event without refund for violation of this Code of Conduct or for any conduct we deem disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the spirit of the Event.
10.1 Health and Illness
Out of respect for other Attendees, facilitators, and venue staff, please do not attend the Event in person if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness (including but not limited to fever, persistent cough, or active gastrointestinal symptoms) or if you have been advised by a healthcare provider to isolate. If you are unable to attend due to illness, contact us at rachel@cloud925.com as soon as possible. The standard refund and transfer policy in Section 4 applies; however, we will use reasonable efforts to accommodate good-faith illness-related transfer requests after the December 1, 2026 refund deadline. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to ask any Attendee who is visibly ill at the Event to leave for the safety of others, without refund.
10.2 Non-Solicitation Among Attendees
The Event includes networking opportunities, and we encourage Attendees to connect, share resources, and discuss their work. The Event is not, however, a sales venue for non-sponsor Attendees. By attending, you agree that you will not use the Event, the Attendee list, the venue, the breaks, the meals, or any post-Event communications obtained through the Event to:
- Conduct active sales pitches or unsolicited promotional outreach of your own firm's services or products to other Attendees.
- Recruit, attempt to recruit, or actively solicit any Attendee, facilitator, speaker, or sponsor to leave their current employer or engagement.
- Distribute promotional materials, swag, marketing collateral, or sales literature to other Attendees without our prior written consent.
Sponsors of the Event are excluded from this Section 10.2 with respect to their sponsored activities and designated sponsor materials, as set forth in their sponsorship agreements with us. Casual conversation about what you and other Attendees do for a living, exchanging business cards, discussing potential professional referrals, and following up in good faith after the Event are not solicitation and are encouraged. Violation of this Section 10.2 may result in removal from the Event without refund.
11. Confidentiality of Other Attendees and Their Work
During the Event, Attendees may share information about their law firms, clients, matters, workflows, financial details, and proprietary processes. You agree to treat any such information as confidential and not to disclose, publish, post on social media, or use it for any purpose outside the Event. You further agree not to copy, photograph, screenshot, or reproduce any other Attendee's code, prompts, builds, slides, notes, or other work product without their express written consent. This obligation survives the end of the Event.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 Our Materials
All content, materials, presentations, slides, prompts, code samples, build templates, workflows, recordings, written materials, branding, logos, and trademarks provided by Organizer or our facilitators, speakers, and sponsors in connection with the Event (collectively, "Event Materials") are the intellectual property of Organizer, the applicable facilitator, or the applicable sponsor. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use Event Materials solely for your own internal educational and business use within your own law firm. You may not republish, redistribute, resell, repackage, sublicense, post publicly, or use Event Materials to teach, train, or facilitate any third party.
12.2 Your Builds
You retain ownership of any work product, code, prompts, automations, or builds you create during the Event using your own data and ideas. By voluntarily presenting or sharing your build during any Event session, you grant Organizer a non-exclusive license to reference, describe, or feature your build (and your name and firm) in marketing and educational recap materials, unless you notify rachel@cloud925.com in writing before the session that you do not consent.
13. No Legal, Professional, or Financial Advice
The Event is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing presented, discussed, demonstrated, distributed, or otherwise communicated at the Event constitutes legal advice, financial advice, accounting advice, tax advice, investment advice, technical advice, professional advice of any kind, or the practice of law. No attorney-client relationship is created between you and Organizer, any facilitator, any speaker, any sponsor, or any other Attendee by reason of your attendance. You should consult your own qualified professionals before relying on any information from the Event for any specific decision affecting your firm, your clients, your employees, or your business.
Information about specific software, tools, and services is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee. Software, AI models, pricing, features, and terms change frequently. You are solely responsible for your own diligence on any tool or service you adopt as a result of the Event.
14. AI Tools and Third-Party Services
The Event involves hands-on use of artificial intelligence tools (including but not limited to Anthropic's Claude) and third-party services. AI tools can produce output that is inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or otherwise unsuitable for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any AI-generated content before using it in your law practice or for any client matter. You must comply with your applicable rules of professional conduct, including without limitation rules concerning competence, confidentiality, supervision, and disclosure to clients, when using AI tools learned about at the Event.
You are solely responsible for determining what information you may and may not enter, upload, or share with any AI tool, in accordance with your applicable state and local bar rules, your firm policies, your client engagement agreements, and your professional judgment. Bar rules vary by jurisdiction and continue to evolve. Neither Organizer nor any facilitator, speaker, sponsor, or other party associated with the Event is liable for any disclosure, breach, ethics violation, sanction, malpractice claim, or other consequence arising from your decision to input any information into any AI tool during or after the Event, regardless of any guidance, demonstration, prompt, or example provided at the Event.
Third-party services (including but not limited to Anthropic, Ticket Tailor, payment processors, Base44, the venue, hotels, caterers, sponsors, and other vendors) are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, performance, or pricing of any third party.
Internet connectivity at the Event is provided by the venue or by us as a courtesy. We make no guarantee regarding the availability, speed, security, or reliability of any internet connection at the Event. AI tools, payment processors, cloud services, and other internet-dependent tools may experience outages, slowdowns, or service interruptions during the Event. We are not responsible for any limitation in your Event experience resulting from connectivity issues or third-party service outages.
15. No Guarantee of Results
We make no guarantee, warranty, or representation that you will achieve any specific outcome from attending the Event, including but not limited to revenue increases, cost savings, time savings, productivity gains, hiring outcomes, or business growth. Outcomes vary based on countless factors specific to your firm, your team, your clients, and your follow-through. Any examples, case studies, testimonials, or results discussed at the Event are illustrative only and are not representations of typical results.
16. Sponsors
Event sponsors are independent third parties. Sponsorship of the Event does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by Organizer of any sponsor, sponsor product, or sponsor service. We make no representations or warranties about any sponsor or about any product, service, claim, or offer made by any sponsor at the Event or in any sponsor materials. Any transaction or relationship you enter into with a sponsor is solely between you and that sponsor. We are not a party to and have no responsibility for any such transaction or relationship.
17. Dietary Restrictions and Accessibility
We will use reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary restrictions and accessibility needs that you communicate to us in writing at rachel@cloud925.com no later than 14 days before the Event. We cannot guarantee accommodations requested after that deadline or accommodations that the venue or our caterer cannot reasonably provide. Allergens may be present in the Event environment, and we make no warranties regarding cross-contamination or allergen-free preparation. You are responsible for knowing your own dietary needs and confirming the safety of any food before consuming it.
18. Assumption of Risk and Release
Attending an in-person event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks of personal injury, property damage, illness, exposure to communicable disease, foodborne illness, slip-and-fall accidents, travel-related risks, and risks associated with the venue and its facilities.
By purchasing a ticket and attending the Event, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, you, on behalf of yourself, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Organizer, its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, facilitators, speakers, sponsors, venue, vendors, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that may be sustained by you or to any property belonging to you, while attending, participating in, or traveling to or from the Event, whether caused by negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
You are solely responsible for your personal property at the Event, including but not limited to laptops, tablets, phones, charging cables, peripherals, bags, wallets, jewelry, clothing, and any other belongings. We are not responsible for any item that is lost, stolen, damaged, or left behind. We strongly recommend that you keep valuables on your person at all times and do not leave personal property unattended.
19. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your acts or omissions at the Event, (c) any content, materials, data, or information you upload, share, transmit, or input into any AI tool or third-party service during or in connection with the Event, (d) your violation of any law or any rights of any third party (including any client of yours), or (e) any photo, recording, or other content you capture or distribute in violation of these Terms.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will the Released Parties be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunities, or business interruption, arising out of or related to the Event or these Terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. The Released Parties' total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to the Event or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid for your ticket. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Event, Event Materials, and all content provided before, during, and after the Event are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Event will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free.
22. Insurance
You are responsible for your own travel insurance, health insurance, and any other insurance you deem appropriate in connection with attending the Event. We strongly encourage Attendees who are traveling from out of town to consider trip insurance that covers cancellation, interruption, illness, and force majeure events.
23. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Event will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
24. Informal Dispute Resolution
Before filing any claim against us, you agree to first contact us at rachel@cloud925.com and to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least 30 days. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within that period, either party may proceed in accordance with Section 23.
25. Entire Agreement, Severability, and Waiver
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Organizer concerning the Event and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings, whether oral or written. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision of these Terms is effective unless in writing and signed by Organizer. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time before the Event. The current version will always be posted at the URL where you originally accessed these Terms or on our website at cloud925.com. Material changes will be communicated to ticket holders by email. Your continued attendance at the Event after we post or send a change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
